PhD Position in USA

We are seeking a PhD student to join our research team in Wind Engineering at the University of Illinois as soon as January 2025. This opportunity will focus on analysis of wind data and exploring associated engineering applications. The ideal candidate will have an engineering and/or science background with a strong foundation in probability and statistical concepts. Proficiency in coding (e.g., Python, MATLAB, or similar) and experience working with large datasets is also ideal. This role offers the chance to contribute to impactful research in wind engineering and windstorm risk assessment.
