A fully funded PhD studentship (home/international) is available to develop the wireless implantable magnetic technology for precise control of neuronal excitability. This interdisciplinary project combines electronic engineering, neuroscience, and mathematical modelling. The studentship covers full tuition (Home or International) and provides an annual stipend of at least £19,237 for 3.5 years. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electronic engineering, electromagentic theories and computational modelling, with a keen interest in neuromodulation technologies. Experience in interdisciplinary research and familiarity with experimental and computational methods will be beneficial. Application deadline: September 30, 2024.
