OMANI SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM 2025-26 (FULLY FUNDED UNDERGRADUATE STUDY IN OMAN)

 

The Government of the Sultanate of Oman has announced 2 fully funded scholarships and 8 tuition-fee-waiver-only scholarships (accommodation, air ticket, and other related expenses will be borne by the student) for international students, including Pakistani nationals, under the Omani Program for Cultural and Scientific Cooperation. These scholarships offer the opportunity to apply for fully funded undergraduate scholarships in Engineering, Humanities, IT, and Sciences (excluding Medicine) at selected Omani universities (Private Higher Education Institutions).

 

Categories of seats 

 

1. 2 fully funded scholarships
2. 8 tuition fee scholarship only (other related expenses will be borne by the students)

These positions offer the following benefits to the successful candidates:

• 100% Tuition Fee Waiver
• Monthly Stipend (OMR 200 (if housing is not provided), OMR 140 (if free housing is provided))
• Choice of multiple universities and majors
• Option to choose up to 3 universities and 2 academic majors
• One round-trip air ticket per academic year

 

Eligibilty Criteria

 

The applicants must check the following criteria to be eligible for the scholarships:

1. Must be a Pakistani national,
2. Completed Intermediate or equivalent (Grade 12) within last three years,
3. Must be 23 years or younger at the time of application,
4. Must be medically fit, and
5. Must obtain an Equivalency Certificate from the Ministry of Education, Oman.

Required Documents

 

Following are the documents that need to be submitted for complete application:

• Valid Passport,
• Intermediate Certificate or equivalent,
• Omani Equivalency Certificate (link and information provided above), and
• English Language Proficiency results (if available, or depending on the university’s documents requirements).

 

Instructions:  All files must be in English, under the file size limits (2MB for PDFs, 1MB for images), and without any special characters in the filename.

1. Apply directly to the Omani universities before the mentioned deadline by each individual university.
2. After applying in preferred university, complete the online registration via:

   Major Offered: Chemical & Petrochemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science, Maths, Physics, Stats, Economics, Information Systems, International Business, and Operations Management.

2. Al Buraimi University

   Major Offered: Business Admin (E-Business, Int’l Business), MIS, Architecture, AI, ICT Eng., Health Sciences (Optometry, Occ. Safety).

3. Sharqiyah University

   Majors Offered: AI Eng., Cybersecurity, Energy & Sustainable Systems Eng., Public Health, Applied Nutrition, Medical Lab, Data Science, Law, Arabic Literature, English Ed., IT, Business, Accounting.

4. Dhofar University

   Majors Offered: All Majors (except Medicine).

5. Majan University College

   Majors Offered: Business Admin., Information Technology.

6. Gulf College

   Majors Offered: All Majors.

7. Global College of Eng. & Tech

   Majors Offered: All Majors.

8. German University of Tech (GUtech)

   Majors offered: Applied Earth Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering.
