Research Professor Position (Non-Tenure Track)
Yonsei University, Seoul – Research Center for Climate Change-Adapted Infrastructure

We are looking for a full-time Research Professor (non-tenure track) to join our team at Yonsei University, Seoul.

Who Can Apply

• Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Climate Change, Digital Construction, or a related field.

• The Ph.D. should have been awarded at least one year before the start date.

Research Focus Areas (including but not limited to)

• Smart and resilient infrastructure & cities

• Digital twins for the built environment

• As-built BIM simulation for climate change adaptation & resilience

• Construction automation for a circular economy

• AI applications for the built environment

• Modular and off-site construction

Salary & Benefits

• Annual salary: KRW 45,000,000

• Monthly salary: Around KRW 3,100,000 (after tax)

• Includes retirement allowance and national insurance

Appointment Period

• January 2026 – January 2027 (non-tenure track)

Extension possibility: The selected candidate will be encouraged to apply for national research grants (e.g., postdoctoral fellowships) after the appointment starts, which may support an extension.
