One professor is looking for FOUR fully-funded Ph.D. students in her lab, Performance and Research Optimization in Networks Lab (PROTON Lab), at the School of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering — ASU ECEE, Arizona State University starting in Spring or Fall 2025. The students will work under NSF, DoD, and DoE-funded projects in the field of Next Generation Wireless Networks and AI.
Research topics include: AI, 6G Networks, Internet of Things, Cybersecurity.
Minimum GPA: 3.5
Students from the lab work closely with the Sandia National Laboratories, Army Research Lab, Air Force Research Labs, and the Los Alamos National Laboratory.
The students should have expertise in:
– Machine Learning and Deep Learning
– Optimization
– C, Python, NS3 or OMNET++, Verilog
– Hardware Security
– ASIC Synthesis
– FPGA Design and Test
